How to submit keywords for your website

Use meta tags. The search engines will use meta tags to build an abstract of your site, and index the words you believe are relevant. Here's an example of how to use meta tags for description and keywords:

<HEAD>

<TITLE>Mike's Auto Repair, Plattsburgh NY</TITLE>

<META name = "description" content = "We're a Family-owned business since 1973, servicing both foreign and domestic cars.">

<META name = "keywords" content ="paint & body, shocks, struts, transmission, brakes">

</HEAD>

Use synonyms that accurately describe your site, but don't try to boost the site's relevance by repeating keywords. The overuse and repetition of keywords may result in a lower relevancy score and possible omission from some search engines.

For more information on how to use META tags, send a e-mail to webmaster@westelcom.com

If you would like for us to enter in your keywords for the site submission, please enter in the keywords below, separating each keyword with a comma.
